My fans make me smile

As many of my fans know, I was cast last year in Vivid’s “The Avengers XXX parody” as The Scarlet Witch.  At the time, I was terrifically excited.  It would be my first big role, and I’d get to play a character I have enjoyed for many years in comic books.

Alas, it was not to be.  After a single day of sitting around on set (they never got to my scene during the shoot day) I was sent home, and never called back.  For reasons unknown, without ever giving so much as a single moment of performance, I had been replaced.

It hurt so much at the time.  I didn’t understand what I had done wrong.  I looked like my photographs.  I hadn’t gained any weight or changed my hair.  I had been nice to everyone on set.  And still I was replaced.

Over time, I got over the slight.  I put it out of my mind as best I could.

Today, while reading about the now finished “Avengers XXX Parody,” I saw something that made me smile (click to enlarge):

Thank you, whoever wrote that.  Thanks to all my fans.
